Well first of all, I feel like your drums need to be more punchier. From hearing this song, I think the way you utilized the sample didn't really flow well, like it just suddenly pops up without warning, like :04. Maybe you should use other parts of the sample and build up to the sound at :04. The end seems to be a bit chaotic for me, specifically at :59. Overall, it's okay I guess.

P.S. What were the samples you used? Cuz' I'm kind of diggin' it.

Lol, I didn't expect this to be Doki Doki Literature Club. It's actually pretty relaxing and calming listening to this version of the song. Sadly, tho, this song is too short, but I don't mind. There's also the drums, which I think is lacking, but then again it'll change the feel of the song. Overall, I kind of like it.

I didn't make a full-length version only because I really couldn't stand to put that much effort into this song. It's a cute little tune, and funny enough uses the classic heart & soul 4-chord layout that hundreds of other songs do. The flute is probably my favorite part, it's innovative if nothing else. Between you and me, I half-assed the drums anyway :P

Damn, this feels video game-ish, like I'm in some warehouse or something. I think it was good when there wasn't so many high frequencies in this song, that's when the high hats appear, which really ruins the feel of the song. I suggest you to filter it to make it focus less on the high frequencies. Overall, I like it!

Ayy, you use 3xosc too? Anyways, the song is pretty alright. Tho I think you should add more to the drums somewhere around :32 and :43, since you kind of created the buildup needed before that, I don't know it just seems to be lacking energy in those parts. I suggest you to make the fade out for the main lead at 1:04 a bit longer to make it a bit smooth and not so sudden. The bass thing that replaces the main lead at 1:04 feels a bit weird tho. Overall, I kind of like it.

Csucskos responds:

Woohoo. Thanks!
-3x Osc? All day every day. I'm not good enough to use that to it's full potential so no need to move on.
-Maybe I'll add some drums. I'm not so sure. The melody is quite intense there and there are the arps, so it would sound too messy in my opinion. The fade out is a good idea tho. I don't know why I didn't do so. Thanks.
-Ohh and the bass solo?! It is supposed to be weird. Maybe too much but it felt good after a tons of listen ;) So the fresh listen probably helps.

I'm not hatin' here, and I also don't have much to say since the audio quality is incredibly poor and the song's very muddy, so it was pretty hard to enjoy it. Could've been a great song tho.

NickKick11 responds:

Yeah this is crap

Honestly, this doesn't feel like a boss battle. Maybe add some drums for more atmosphere? This feels more like a spaceship. A weird one. As for the song itself, most of the notes are going offkey, which is almost impossible to recognize the feeling you want. Nothing much to comment here actually as it's a pretty simple song. Overall, it's not that good, but not that bad also.

Damn I'm almost in tears hearing this. I don't know much about Vocaloid since I don't listen to it in a daily routine or never used it before, but maybe you could try layering the vocals in certain parts, such as the chorus? Overall, nice Vocaloid song you have here.

biyaonibakasan responds:

Thanks, Try to listen to the 2nd version of this.

Shit not even 20 seconds and I'm lovin' it. That melody in the beginning was just legendary. Not all-time legendary, but still legendary.

Froej responds:

really ? thank you so much :DDDD

This is such a good song, it was all so good until you tried to change the key through the pitch, I see what you were trying to do, and I think that modulation would've been a better way to get that feeling instead of automating it, making it sound really unpleasant. I also think this should use some more dynamics in it to make it sound more realistic and better sounding. Overall, you made such an amazing song, but some parts didn't sound that well.

Oh cool! I saw my friend playing this game once, but sadly I forgot how the original one sounded like. Anyways, I would really love it if you would add a bit more reverb into your piano, cause it felt a bit empty to me, and also some more dynamics to make it sound like a real piano, especially on the lead melody. In my opinion, you should've added a bit more instruments into the track to make it sound more fuller and diverse. I know this is a cover, but can't you at least put some of your variation and style into the track? Like tweak the melody a little bit and all that. Overall, it's okay I guess.

I'm very, very random. Hi.
