- Vocals at the beginning and the buildup feels underwhelming
- Love how you made the drop harder
- The drops are too repetitive

All together it's kinda nice what you did to the song (although I've only heard the original once). I feel like you've missed your opportunity with this song. I think you could've made a sicker beat.

Still wondering though what was your motivation though, remixing this song. Chainsmokers songs are already good, so there's a little point in changing it. It's okay to do these things once in a while I guess, as long as you still are focusing on the improvement of your own music.

ShimaMusic responds:

Ok, thank you for your feedback, this was not my best track at all I agree

This is some deep stuff. Feels like cross between The Neighborhood and Jon Bellion (Personally). I really feel the emotion. Although, I would love it if you put more of a House genre approach or just add a few electronic stuff. You know, living in the 21st century and stuff. This kinda stuff I would really love to hear when I'm chillin' after school. Also, you mind PMing me the lyrics? I would really appreciate it.

This song wasn't that bad. I don't mind the beats being repetitive because if you hear the songs from games like "Undertale", their beats are usually repetitive but it's still very good. In my opinion, IF you were to use this song in a game, I would recommend you to make shorter and simpler versions of this song so when you finally reach to the climax or something, you could bust this song out.

So let's talk about the song itself. I felt like the small drops in this track doesn't feel hard enough. I don't like how this song is uncomfortable to listen to, but if your aim is to make the listener feel this way, then well done for you. I feel like this song in the right setting can really set the tone so well. But this song really doesn't feel like my cup of tea. It's not a song I would leisurely listen too.

I'm more of a 'feel good' guy, so I would rather like to see a more upbeat version of this tune. I feel like this song could really be something if you make a few changes to. Nonetheless, after hearing this piece, I still have that good feeling in me and I look forward to see what you'll bring to the table in the future.

SlashBolt1 responds:

Yea, this song isn't what you'd be looking for if you want something upbeat. xD
As for repetitive, yes, the song is meant to be extremely repetitive. In retrospect it did come out more repetitive than I wanted it to. The few small drops were meant to be those climaxes, and everything else is supposed to be gradual change, which I feel personally was done alright.
And for emotion, all of my tracks I try to put some deep feeling into them, this one being hope within a dire situation. Sure, if you don't listen to trance on a daily basis, fine by me, everyone has their own tastes.
Thanks though, nice to get some good feedback. ^.^

I don't know how you thought of this, this is just so chill and refreshing. It really blows me away how the song synchronizes with me. I feel like if you can make a full song out of this it would be dope. Damn dope. It would also be better if you could make the drop a little bit harder. Overall, sick beat you got there.

I actually had a feeling of dance to this beat. Also, did you base this song to a meme? ( No offense the title of this song reminds me of a meme )

AlienLock responds:

Oh, sorry I don't know any meme involving a dirt clown, Pennywise form IT?

Anyway, yeah, Dance ended up becoming a thing in this one as i made it up as I went along

This is pretty great for an 8-bit cover. Keep up the good work!

wyver9 responds:

Thank you!

To me, this doesn't feel much of a cold day, instead it kind of feels like a dank day to me. This is definitely a song I'd listen to whenever I'm jogging or walking in a park, or just outside in general.

DelitescentAria responds:

I um...
okay?
sorry im just surprised at the lack of negative points with the 2.5 stars
thanks?

it was also a very cold day when i made this

Well, I'm Asian. So f- you : ) ayyy lmao.

Anyways, I love this song. This has a weirdly calm feeling in it. ( Especially when the weird sound effects half of the song. ) That beat was so nice, especially the one near the end of the song. I really wanna hear this in my room over and over again. The instruments just sync altogether and made this calm feeling in me. Good job making this!

DelitescentAria responds:

thanks :)

Disclaimer: In no way did I mean to offend anyone with this song.

I feel very bad for giving such a low rating, I honestly love the beat. It really had that 'Gorillaz' feeling (Andromeda being my current favorite, lmao). I tried my hardest to find something good about it, but the song is too repetitive. There isn't many change ups, and not very unique.

But I can't hate it. This can really imagine this could be a beat used by the Gorillaz. And the song has heart in it. For some reason, it has that addicting sound that makes me wanna hear more. I honestly wanna hear more songs like this, just that a song shouldn't have the same beat repeated over and over. I would give it a 3-star or a 3.5-star if it weren't that repetitive. I really wanna hear more music like this tho.

mrcompston responds:

So, I wanted to give a bit of a thought about the way I was going to respond. I will have to agree with the bass playing the same notes too many times and I could have added a couple of transactions between verses/choruses. I was in fact trying with the whole Gorillaz feel, in particular, "Kids With Guns" was the song that gave me the idea. Anyway, thank you very much for your honesty and I hope you have a fantastic day :)

God, this is amazing. Dude, whatever your doing, keep doing it. The drop is so good. It really takes me away. And the way the bit sounds are so addicting, that I feel like you should focus more on them. Your drop is already damn tasteful, so it will be godlike if you can get your bit tunes better.

Personally, I don't usually hear bit music, but I find the songs from Toby Fox's Undertale to be damn addicting, so you should listen to them for more inspiration.

And honestly, I love people trying new things, and believe that 'Bitro' is a thing the near future. It's damn legit.

ShimaMusic responds:

Thank you so much for your kind words! I actually do know the Undertale songs and took a small bit of inspiration from them!!

I'm very, very random. Hi.
