Lol, I didn't expect this to be Doki Doki Literature Club. It's actually pretty relaxing and calming listening to this version of the song. Sadly, tho, this song is too short, but I don't mind. There's also the drums, which I think is lacking, but then again it'll change the feel of the song. Overall, I kind of like it.

I didn't make a full-length version only because I really couldn't stand to put that much effort into this song. It's a cute little tune, and funny enough uses the classic heart & soul 4-chord layout that hundreds of other songs do. The flute is probably my favorite part, it's innovative if nothing else. Between you and me, I half-assed the drums anyway :P

Ayy, you use 3xosc too? Anyways, the song is pretty alright. Tho I think you should add more to the drums somewhere around :32 and :43, since you kind of created the buildup needed before that, I don't know it just seems to be lacking energy in those parts. I suggest you to make the fade out for the main lead at 1:04 a bit longer to make it a bit smooth and not so sudden. The bass thing that replaces the main lead at 1:04 feels a bit weird tho. Overall, I kind of like it.

Csucskos responds:

Woohoo. Thanks!
-3x Osc? All day every day. I'm not good enough to use that to it's full potential so no need to move on.
-Maybe I'll add some drums. I'm not so sure. The melody is quite intense there and there are the arps, so it would sound too messy in my opinion. The fade out is a good idea tho. I don't know why I didn't do so. Thanks.
-Ohh and the bass solo?! It is supposed to be weird. Maybe too much but it felt good after a tons of listen ;) So the fresh listen probably helps.

I'm not hatin' here, and I also don't have much to say since the audio quality is incredibly poor and the song's very muddy, so it was pretty hard to enjoy it. Could've been a great song tho.

Yeah this is crap

Damn I'm almost in tears hearing this. I don't know much about Vocaloid since I don't listen to it in a daily routine or never used it before, but maybe you could try layering the vocals in certain parts, such as the chorus? Overall, nice Vocaloid song you have here.

Thanks, Try to listen to the 2nd version of this.

Shit not even 20 seconds and I'm lovin' it. That melody in the beginning was just legendary. Not all-time legendary, but still legendary.

Froej responds:

really ? thank you so much :DDDD

Damn this song makes Bowser look so badass. Although I'm not an expert on guitars and drums, I could tell you that I really like this cover, so good job!

Xyhthisdi1987 responds:

Thank you very much :)

Hmm.... I'm getting those Pokemon vibes... I mean, some parts of the song were kind of off-key, especially at the beginning, and I don't know if that was on purpose or not, but it felt weird. The drums could've been a bit louder. I'm really digging into that church organ through the song. Needs a bit more details on it, but other than that, it's OK I guess.

Umm.... Okay? I liked how you tried to mix electro and classical together, but there were a lot of things that need improving. First, your beginning didn't go too smooth. I'd suggest adding less sounds first then progress to the beginning of your song. Your piano really lacks dynamic. I mean all the notes are played at the same volume, which doesn't sound pleasing.

Now moving on to the next part of your song, which is :27. The hi-hats seemed a bit too loud for me. The hi-hats should've been a bit slower, then goes fast at :54 It could really use a bass instead of the piano playing alone, as it felt real empty. And no, the piano bass doesn't count.

Then there's :54, the moment where there's changes, and there's the piano and a flute-sound playing. Nothing much to criticize here as anything that goes beyond this is just the same thing, which was really boring. Overall, eh, I see what were you trying to do there, but still, eh.

ZtpRapheephat responds:

Ill try more
Thx 8)

Huh. Um. Not much to say about it. The distortion at the beginning was a bit unsettling for me. It sounded pretty decent until :23 and :51, that is when you threw in the ride which was incredibly loud. You could've changed some notes in the melody during :45. And you could've also add a bass to go with your main melody to spice things up a little. I can really see your inspiration from K-on! although I don't really watch the anime that much. Overall, eh.

P.S. Just try experimenting with your melodies and listen to some great tracks, and probably you'll find one? That's how I do it when I can't think of a good melody.

ItsALoToss responds:

Thanks, it is just some "training" for so fast and crazy track. So, I'm interested in the opinion only about drums. And beginning - the hardest part for me, 90% of my tracks still-born because I cant begin it. Here I'm don't care about beginning, it is just for fill the space.

Hmm....Now listening to the song itself reminds me that I'm in a space-like environment, and the echo-ish snares gives more of that space-like environment thing. I can tell that it is nice compared to your other stuff that you uploaded, although the robot-like vocals seem a bit too quiet for me especially in the middle of the song where the beats all come together and the beginning of the song where there's also the female vocals, so I suggest you to turn it up a bit. And the fade out of the song seemed weird to me because of the female vocals echoing, so I suggest you to make the female vocals more quieter and quieter at the fade out of the song when all the beats are done with their thing. Overall, it's just nice.

ShadowShinobiTunes responds:

Thanks for the criticism
